So very happy and proud to be able to reveal that a while back I was commissioned to create the great “Metal Prize” – PLÅTPRISET 2016. It was awarded to Tengbom Architects for their incredible titanium zinc addition to the Alingsås court house, at the inspiring PLÅT seminar for architects which took place in Gothenburg today. Well done to Åsa Ragnarsson and Far From Standard who always do such an immense and professional job arranging this annual seminar, and, of course, congratulations to architects Magnus Almung and Fritz Olausson at Tengbom for their well-deserved award!
The prize is made of etched and patinated copper, bronze, brass and titanium zink.
