Update from the studio

A redesigned website, an upcoming talk and a year of anger and sadness.

First things first. The redesigned website is not the cause of my sadness and anger. It could very easily have been, to be fair, because WordPress and I are not always the best of friends, and my logic apparently differs significantly from computer logic. But I had an awesome professional, Leigh, fight all my web and WordPress battles for me, and as of February 1, 2023, the new website is in place. It still needs to add more content and there might be a link or two that need updating, but that will all be sorted.

So, the anger… and even more sadness, actually. While I can’t tell you the reason yet, I can assure you that I did something about it. On Tuesday February 7 I’ll reveal it here and on sharing it with you, here and on social media. Do check back then. There’s a chance we can all help make things a bit better.

In the meantime, I am planning a public talk about my art at Lunds Konsthall, Sweden, on Thursday February 16 at 18.00. The talk will be in Swedish and it is free of charge. I’m very much looking forward to returning to Lund – where it all started, at art school in 1997 – and to the lovely konsthall (‘art center’). And I promise I’ll be neither sad nor angry.
